K&N’s Chunks are fully cooked, great tasting, wholesome and convenient. Enjoy them on their own or use cold or hot in salads, as topping for pizzas before baking, in sandwiches or with rice and pastas. You can also be imaginative and create something new. Depending on your preferred choice of serving, please follow the undergiven procedure for thawing to use cold or continue heating to serve hot.
Appliances and utensils vary; adjust heating times accordingly.
To defrost OR to use cold:
Defrost frozen Chunks inside refrigerator until thawed. For quick defrosting, use
microwave oven on defrost mode only. Place frozen Chunks in a tray or plate and defrost for 1 minute or until thawed.
To serve hot: After defrosting frozen Chunks until thawed (as given above), proceed to heat by choosing your preferred method below.
Microwave Oven: Only use defrost mode. Spread already thawed Chunks evenly on a plate. Heat (defrost mode) for 3-4 minutes or until hot.
Preheat oven to 150°C. Spread already thawed Chunks evenly on a baking sheet and place into oven for 2-3 minutes or until hot.
Preheat a non-stick or lightly oiled pan. Spread already thawed Chunks in the pan turning them gently through heating over medium heat.
